The saying that “time flies when you’re having fun” certainly rang true this summer. Yet as we write this on a sultry afternoon in late August, it seems that in many ways, the best of the season is still ahead of us. That’s why we’ve

dedicated much of this issue to savoring the last of the summer season, and hope to provide you with ideas and inspiration for enjoying the finest in life as we transition into autumn.

While relaxation is definitely still at the top of the to-do list, there are a lot of other extra-curriculars that need attention. From back to school, to back to work – and in many ways, back to reality – September is a month filled with refreshing activity. But even as we check off on our to-do lists, we can keep reflecting on another fantastic (albeit late-blooming) summer in our part of New Jersey.  Enjoy the best of the season that’s still ahead and we look forward to seeing you around our towns.
